A 1,200-person sales kickoff in Orlando

The client wanted a closing keynote that referenced the year's three regional restructures without making them the punchline. We sourced material themes during a 45-minute call with the CRO's chief of staff and recommended two performers. The booked comedian opened with a callback to the company's onboarding video — earned the loudest laugh of the day, per post-event survey.

Outcome: Net Promoter shift on the closing session: +31 vs prior year.

Mid-market healthcare provider

A 220-person leadership offsite in Sonoma

An intimate evening set after a difficult strategy day. We flagged a topic to avoid (a recent acquisition had not been formally announced internally) and drafted a one-paragraph 'don't joke about' rider that the comedian signed.

Outcome: Rebooked for the following year before the room cleared.

Boutique private equity firm

An end-of-year holiday gala in Manhattan

Black-tie, 350 guests, mixed family attendance, three principals over 70. Clean-set comedian only. We provided two recommendations and a video archive of recent corporate sets for partner approval.
